Shocking! Man Arrested for Raping Own Minor Daughter in Malkangiri

Malkangiri: In a shocking incident, a man from Balimela in Malkangiri district raped his own minor daughter. Police have arrested the accused identified as Nimai Sarkar.

The accused is alleged to have raped his 13-year-old minor daughter on November 5. He threatened her to not disclose it to anyone.

Nimai lived with his daughter in the house as around eight months back his wife had left him along with their son following a marital tussle.

It is alleged that Nimai raped the minor girl while she was sleeping on November 5 night. The incident came to fore when the victim spoke about her ordeal before a neighbour.

The neighbour immediately informed the police about it.

Following an investigation, police have arrested Nimai.
