Shootout on Biju Expressway in Sundargarh, 2 Youths Injured

Sundargarh: Two youths were reportedly injured in a shootout on the Biju Expressway in the Sundargarh district of Odisha on Friday.

According to sources, some masked armed miscreants fired at two youths who were travelling in a pickup van on the Biju Expressway in Sundargarh district.

The injured youths were identified as Vikram Tandon and Sunil Ratnakar from of Chhattisgarh. One was hit by a bullet in his chest and a bullet pierced the neck of the others.

Both injured youths were admitted to a local hospital. The reason behind the shooting has not been ascertained.

The police are investigating the shootout.
