Evaluation of Matric Exam Answer Sheets Starts Today

Bhubaneswar: The evaluation of answer sheets of students who had appeared for the annual high school certificate (HSC) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, started from Friday. The answer papers were sent from the exam centers to the evaluation centers under high-security cover.

The answer sheets will be evaluated by around 15,000 teachers in 55 centers across the state.

Before taking up the evaluation process, the BSE trained chief examiners, deputy examiners, and teachers for smooth conduct of copy-checking.  The evaluation process has a minimum of 9 units and a maximum of 13 units per account. Every unit has 25 teachers to check the answer-sheets.

More than 5 lakh students appeared for the Class X high school certificate examination conducted by the BSE across the state this year.
