Former Sarpanch Murdered in Koraput Dist, Body Found Buried in Field

Koraput: The body of a former sarpanch was found buried in an agricultural field at Talagumandi village under Narayanpatna Block of Koraput district on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Singuru Tadingi (32), the former sarpanch of Talagumandi panchayat.

According to reports, Singuru was missing since Thursday. He went to his field for cultivation and did not return home. His family members could not locate him anywhere. On  Friday morning, his body was found buried in the field.

Initial police investigation suggests that the former sarpanch was murdered and the killers buried his body. The local police have seized the body for postmortem and started an investigation.
