Six Barbers Shot Dead After Abduction in Pakistan

Six barbers were abducted by unidentified militants and later shot dead in Mir Ali of North Waziristan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.

These barbers were from the Punjab province in Pakistan. They were running barber shops in the local bazaar of Mir Ali. All of them were kidnapped on Monday and their bullet-ridden bodies were recovered on Tuesday.

No organization has claimed responsibility for the killings.

Pakistan Police have launched a search to arrest the culprits who shot and killed the six barbers.

In recent past five labourers were killed in North Waziristan by unidentified militants while they were in their tents.

According to reports by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies think tank, in November 2023, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the most terror attacks affected region in Pakistan. This province witnessed 51 attacks with 54 deaths and 81 injuries during the month.
