Sonia, Rahul to Visit Odisha in May to Campaign for Congress Candidates

Bhubaneswar: In the first week of May, the Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi and former president of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Rahul Gandhi are expected to visit Odisha to campaign for the Congress candidates contesting the Lok Sabha and assembly polls in the state.

Informing about it, the Congress MP of Koraput Saptagiri Ulaka added that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will accompany Sonia and Rahul during their Odisha tour.

According to him, these two top Congress leaders will visit Odisha in the first week of May. Ulaka is again contesting from the Koraput Lok Sabha constituency.

Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are scheduled to campaign for the Congress candidates in Koraput, Jeypore, Rayagada and Gunupur during their Odisha visit, informed Ulaka.

Sonia and Rahul may also take part in some road shows in Koraput and Rayagada districts. Notably, four Lok Sabha seats in Odisha—Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur and Koraput—and 28 Assembly segments coming under them will go for polls on May 13.
