EC Seeks Reply From PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi Over Violation of Moral Code of Conduct

New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday took cognisance of alleged model code of conduct (MCC) violations by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Both were alleged to have incited hatred and spread false claims during election campaign.

The poll body has sought response by April 29, 11am.

Through a notice, the ECI poll sought responses from both the Congress and BJP by April 29.
