Sujata Karthikeyan Transferred to State Finance Department

Bhubaneswar: Acting on the order of the Election Commission of India (ECI), the Odisha government transferred Senior IAS officer Sujata R Karthikeyan to the post of Secretary to the Government, Finance Department.

The General Administration and Public Grievances department issued a notification regarding her transfer on Friday.

The notification stated, Sujata Karthikeyan, Secretary, Mission Shakti with additional charge of Secretary, Odia Language, Literature and Culture department, has been appointed as Secretary, Finance.

Shalini Pandit, Secretary, Health and Family Welfare (H&FW)department has been appointed as Secretary, Mission Shakti and Secretary, Odia Language, Literature and Culture department as additional charge.

Odisha BJP and its central leaders had complained before the ECI regarding Sujata Karthikeyan on Thursday, following which the ECI had ordered her to a non-public dealing department.
