Suicide Blast in Pakistan Targets Foreigners, 2 Dead, 5 Japanese Escape Unhurt

Two persons died in a suicide attack on a vehicle in Pakistan’s Sindh province on Friday. Five Japanese citizens luckily escaped the suicide blast.

In this latest suicide attack targeting foreign nationals in Pakistan, the terrorists on a motorbike attempted to hit the van of the Japanese nationals. These Japanese citizens were working with Pakistan Suzuki Motors, near Murtaza Chorangi in Landhi.

The Japanese nationals were on the way to the Export Processing Zone from their residence in Zamzama, Clifton.

No one has claimed responsibility for the suicide blast.

Two security guards and a passerby were injured in the blast. Two of them are reported to have died.

In March 2024, five Chinese and their Pakistani driver were killed in a suicide bombing in northwest Pakistan, when they were heading to the Dasu Dam, the biggest hydropower project in Pakistan, where they worked.
