There’ll be 2 Idols of Lord Ram in Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Temple

Ayodhya: The newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya would have two Ram idols, said Champat Rai, general secretary of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Speaking to the Telegraph, Champat Rai said, one of these idols will be the small idol of white marble that appeared in the Babri Masjid in 1949 and is now being worshipped at a makeshift temple.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several VIP guests are expected at the inauguration of the temple and Pran Pratishtha of the idol on January 22, the last day of six-day rituals that will begin on January 17.
