Toddler Brother, Sister Drown in Pond in Jajpur

Jajpur: Two toddler siblings drowned while playing near a pond at Kulasahi village under Mangalpur police station limits in Odisha’s Jajpur district.

The deceased were identified as three-year-old Manas and Mithun of two years, who were brother and sister.

According to reports, both were playing on the banks of the pond near their home and their mother was busy cooking food at home.

While playing, their legs slipped and they fell into the water.

Villagers rescued the victims and rushed them to the Mangalpur CHC, doctors declared them dead.
