Ajay Devgn Begins ‘Raid 2’ Shooting, Will Release on Nov 15

Mumbai: Almost five years after the success of the 2018 blockbuster ‘Raid’, Ajay Devgn has again joined hands with director Rajkumar Gupta for ‘Raid 2’ to return as Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik. ‘Raid 2’ will hit theatres on November 15, 2024.

The sequel will again be about the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department. The shooting of the movie started in Mumbai on Saturday (January 6). It will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The film’s producer Abhshek Pathak, announced the news with a poster of the forthcoming film. ‘Raid 2’ promises even more drama and suspense.

‘Raid’ was a reel version of the real-life income-tax raid on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s, which was the longest raid in Indian history, lasting three days and two nights.

In 2024, Ajay Devgn will be also seen in ‘Maidaan’, ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’.
