Two Bikers Killed in Collision with Bus Carrying Marriage Troupe in Cuttack Dist

Cuttack: Two persons lost their lives when a bus carrying a marriage troupe collided with a bike at Janhia Square in Nischintakoili of Odisha’s Cuttack district on Friday night.

The biker and the pillion rider, who died in the accident, were from the Jagatsinghpur district. Low visibility due to dense fog is said to be the reason behind the accident.

The bus with wedding revellers was travelling to Bhubaneswar from Kendrapada. Following the accident, the driver of the bus lost control of the wheels and crashed the bus into a nearby field.

Luckily all the passengers of the bus escaped unhurt.

Local police have reached the spot to initiate an investigation to ascertain the reason behind the accident.
