Two Die, One Critical As Double Storey Building Collapses in Delhi

New Delhi: Two persons died and another was critically injured when a two-storey building collapsed in Delhi’s Kabir Nagar at late night on Wednesday.

As per officials, this building collapsed at around 02:16 am.

No one was there on the first floor of the building when the incident took place, and the ground floor was being used for jeans cutting.

Three workers of this apparel manufacturing unit were trapped under the debris. All of them were taken out by the rescue teams. Two of the injured workers were declared dead upon arrival at GTB Hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Arshad, 30, and Tauhid, 20. The third worker, Rehan, 22, was critically injured in the incident.

Police are searching for the owner of the building identified as Shahid. Further investigation is ongoing.
