Vikram Lander Checking Landing Site, ISRO Shares Moon Images 2 Days Before Landing

New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) released pictures of the Vikram lander determining the landing site on the south pole of the moon on Monday.  Only two more days remain for the landing of the Vikram lander on the lunar surface.

“Here are the images of the Lunar far side area captured by the Lander Hazard Detection and Avoidance Camera (LHDAC). This camera that assists in locating a safe landing area — without boulders or deep trenches — during the descent,” the ISRO wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
