FIR Filed Against Virat Kohli’s Restaurant for Operating Beyond Permitted Hours

Bengaluru: An FIR has been filed against the manager of One8 Commune, a restaurant co-owned by Virat Kohli, along with four other establishments for allegedly operating beyond permitted hours, Bengaluru police said on Tuesday.

A special drive conducted on July 6th followed complaints that numerous restaurants and pubs in central Bengaluru were staying open past the 1 AM closing time. According to police, a sub-inspector from Cubbon Park police station discovered the One8 Commune manager still operating at around 1:20 AM.

“After receiving complaints about certain pubs and hotels operating beyond the permitted time, we carried out a special drive on the night of July 6th. Based on the violations, we have registered an FIR against the manager of One8 Commune and four other establishments under the Karnataka Police Act at Cubbon Park police station,” a police officer said.
