Wall Collapse in Heavy Rains Kills a Man in Sundargarh

Sundargarh: A man died as he was buried under the debris of a wall of his house that collapsed because of heavy rains at Jarangaloi village under Badagaon block of Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Kurunath Kanta (34). He was sleeping inside the kutcha house when the mishap occurred.

According to officials, continuous rains had weakened the wall and it fell on the victim. Luckily the two-year-old son of the victim escaped unhurt in the wall collapse accident.
