New Delhi: India’s spacecraft for the ambitious solar mission, Aditya-L1, sent pictures of the Earth and the Moon taken during its journey to the destination Lagrangian point (L1) at 1.5 million km from the Earth.
The images were shared by ISRO on X along with a selfie taken by Aditya-L1.

This solar mission was launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on September 2. Aditya-L1 has already completed two earth-bound orbital manoeuvres and will perform two more before taking the transfer orbit towards the Lagrange point L1. Aditya-L1 will reach there in 125 days.
