Woman Found Hanging in Bhubaneswar Hotel, Colleague Absconds

Bhubaneswar: A young woman was found hanging in a hotel room in the Master Canteen area in Bhubaneswar on Thursday morning. She was identified as an inhabitant of the Brahmagiri area, who was an employee of a cell phone company.

According to reports, she had come to Bhubaneswar along with a colleague for some official work. Both checked into the hotel and were occupying the room.

On Thursday morning, the hotel staff discovered her body hanging from the ceiling of the room. But her colleague was not found. His whereabouts are yet to be traced.

Police seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.

Police are examining the CCTV footage of the hotel to ascertain the circumstances that led to the woman’s unnatural death.

But the family members of the deceased have alleged that she was murdered.
