Young Couple Found Hanging in Pump House in Nabarangpur Dist

Nabarangpur: A youth as well as a young girl were found hanging inside a pump house at Bujra village under Umerkote police station limits in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Sanadhara Bhatra and Priyanka Gond.

Police have seized the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. An investigation has been started into the incident.

The reason behind this suspected dual suicide is yet to be ascertained. But locals say, the couple took the extreme step as they were in love and their families were opposed to their marriage.
