Youth Beats His Father to Death with a Hammer in Jajpur Dist

Jajpur: A person allegedly beat his father to death with a hammer in Odisha’s Jajpur district on Thursday.

This shocking incident occurred in Brajapali village under Kalinganagar police station limits. The accused had a heated argument with his father over some matter, said locals. Following this altercation, the agitated youth picked up a hammer to hit his father’s head and body.

The victim died on the spot. Finding his father dead, the accused son fled to escape arrest.

Police have started a manhunt to nab the accused.
