Following Unveiling of Konark Wheel Replica in New York, Chef Vikas Khanna Gets Odisha CM’s Invite

Bhubaneswar: Celebrity chef and entrepreneur Vikas Khanna interacted with Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik through video conferencing on Thursday. Around a week back, Vikas Khanna had unveiled a replica of the iconic Konark wheel at Times Square in New York City of America.

During the discussion, Khanna praised the art, architecture, sculpture, culture, history, and culinary tradition of Odisha, said a release issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

The celebrated chef also described memories of his visit to the Jagannath temple in Puri town during the discussion. The celebrity chef was all praises for the rapid transformation of Odisha under the leadership of Patnaik.

According to Khanna, the iconic Konark wheel symbolizes world peace and unity.

Odisha CM praised Khanna’s entrepreneurial and literary skills and invited him to visit Odisha.

Khanna unveiled the replica of the Konark wheel at Times Square on the occasion of India’s 77th Independence Day. The Odisha Chief Minister thanked Khanna for his initiative to showcase Odisha’s timeless sculpture before the world.

Amritsar-born Khanna has made a name for himself in the culinary world.
