Adani Group To Invest ₹2 Lakh Crore, Create Over 1 Lakh Jobs in Gujarat in Next 5 Years: Gautam Adani

Ahmedabad: Adani Group, led by Gautam Adani, announced a significant investment of Rs 2 lakh crore in Gujarat over the next five years, with a focus on creating the world’s largest clean energy project. The conglomerate will establish three giga factories for manufacturing solar modules, wind turbines, and hydrogen electrolyzers.

In the Rann of Kutch desert in Gujarat, Adani Group is constructing the world’s largest green energy park, covering 725 square kilometres. This ambitious project aims to generate 30 gigawatts of electricity from solar energy and establish an integrated renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem for solar and wind.

Gautam Adani stated at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit that the investment would create over 1 lakh direct and indirect jobs. The green energy park in Khavda, Kutch, is expected to be visible from space, emphasizing its scale and impact.

The Adani Group’s investment includes the development of a comprehensive renewable energy ecosystem, encompassing solar panels, wind turbines, hydrogen electrolysers, green ammonia, PVC, and expansions in copper and cement production.

Adani highlighted that the group had already invested over Rs 50,000 crore out of the Rs 55,000 crore commitment by 2025 made at the previous summit.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Adani acknowledged India’s remarkable economic growth since 2014 amid geopolitical conflicts and the pandemic. He commended Modi for India’s presence on global platforms, specifically mentioning the solar alliance initiative and leadership at the G20 platform.

Adani expressed confidence in India’s future growth and development under Modi’s leadership, emphasizing the Prime Minister’s foresight in harnessing the country’s youth for a developed India by 2047.

Adani concluded by lauding the Vibrant Gujarat Summit as a manifestation of Prime Minister Modi’s extraordinary vision, combining grand ambitions, massive scale, meticulous governance, and flawless execution.
