Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ Highest Grossing Biopic of All Times

‘Oppenheimer’ by Christopher Nolan has become the highest-grossing biopic of all time. It broke the record of the 2018 musical drama “Bohemian Rhapsody” directed by Bryan Singer.

‘Oppenheimer’ also became the highest-grossing World War II movie ever made.

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ made at an estimated budget of USD 55 million earned USD 910.8 million. In contrast ‘Oppenheimer’, produced with a budget of USD 100 million, raked in an impressive USD 912.7 million.

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was about the life of Queen’s legendary frontman, Freddie Mercury. It also won four Academy Awards in 2019.

‘Oppenheimer’ is about the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist who played a pivotal role as the director of the Manhattan Project, to produce the atom bomb.
