Bengal Teen Murdered by Four Friends for Not Sharing Password of Online Game

Kolkata: A teenager was allegedly murdered by his four friends when he refused to share the password of the Free Fire online mobile game in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district.

The four accused juveniles also tried to burn down his body and later dumped the half-burnt corpse in a jungle.

The deceased Papai Das (18) was missing for several days. On January 15, his body was discovered in a jungle by the police.

Basing on a complaint lodged by Purnima Das, the mother of the murdered teenager, police initiated an investigation.

Police have apprehended four minor friends of the deceased for their involvement in the murder. It is alleged that they thrashed Papai brutally causing his death when he refused to share the password of the online game with them.
