British Female Cop Raped at Knifepoint Near Eiffel Tower in Paris

A 23-year-old British policewoman was raped at knifepoint near the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The incident took place on Monday, while the victim was on a vacation to Paris along with a friend, reported The Telegraph.

The incident took place at 11 pm in a park near the Eiffel Tower. The woman went behind a bush to go to the toilet when the man with a knife threatened and raped her.

French police arrested a 35-year-old accused following a complaint lodged by the victim. He was arrested within few hours of the incident, Le Parisian reported.

Three months back a woman from Mexico had been raped at the same park.
