8-Yr-Old Girl Raped in Private School Hostel in Bhopal

Bhopal: An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the hostel of a private school in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal. Police have booked three persons in relation to the case.

Showing concern about the ghastly incident, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe.

The police registered a case on Tuesday night against three persons under Indian Section 376 (rape) of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. But police have not provided the identity of these three accused.

The CCTV footage of the hostel has been recovered by the police as the date of incident is not clear.

The office of Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav said that taking cognizance of the matter, the CM had ordered an SIT probe into the matter.
