Chennai Police Arrests Congress Worker in BSP’s TN Chief Armstrong’s Murder Case

Chennai: Tamil Nadu police on Wednesday arrested one more accused in connection with the murder of state Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) chief K Armstrong.

The accused identified as Aswathaman is a Congress Party activist. Following his arrest, the Tamil Nadu Congress issued a statement, saying that Aswathaman was removed from the party.

So far, 22 people have been arrested in connection with Armstrong’s murder.

Armstrong was hacked to death near his home in the Perambur area of Chennai on July 5.
