Firing at hotel in Chandigarh: One policeman injured, sent to PGI, AK-47 found at the spot

There is report of firing in Chandigarh. According to the information, two policemen were staying in a hotel in Sector-22. At 5:30am, the hotel staff heard the sound of gunshots. After this the matter was reported to the police. When the police reached the spot, one policeman was injured due to bullet shot. AK-47 has been recovered from the spot.

The injured policemen Deepak has been referred to PGI. Sector-17 police station is investigating the matter. It is being told that the bullet has gone through the stomach of the policeman. Chandigarh Police is now probing whether the bullet was fired by mistake or was killed after a fight. The injured policeman is a Punjab Police jawan.
