For Rs 500 Man Stabbed to Death, Eyes Gouged Out by Friends in Bihar

Patna: A 20-year-old labourer, Mohan Singh was allegedly murdered in a gruesome manner by his friends for Rs 500 in Bihar’s Ara.

According to police sources, Mohan was brutally stabbed with a knife, allegedly by his friends, who called him on the pretext of a feast. The body of the deceased was discovered in a field near a bridge.

There were injury marks on the upper body and the eyes of the victim were gouged out with a sharp weapon.

It is alleged that the assailants called up the victim from his home, and took him to a deserted spot, where he was attacked and killed.

The elder brother of the deceased, Radha Singh, alleged that his brother was murdered because he was demanding his unpaid wages of Rs 500 from a local acquaintance, Ajay Mahato. According to Radha, his brother’s friends acted as per the instruction of Mahato, and invited him to a feast to murder him.
