‘Genital Torture’, Head Smashed, Eyes Pierced; Autopsy Details Horror of Kolkata Doc’s Rape & Murder

Kolkata: Autopsy has revealed horrifying shocking details of the 31-year-old post-graduate trainee doctor’s rape and murder at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata.

The report was handed over to the victim’s family on Monday by Kolkata Police.

As reported by The Statesman, the autopsy revealed that the victim was subjected to severe physical assault before her death.

She was hit by the assailant with such force that her spectacles shattered and glass shards pierced her eyes. The victim suffered multiple cuts on her hands and face hinting at a desperate struggle. She bore severe injuries on her private parts indicating rape what has been described as “perverted sexuality” and “genital torture.”

The attacker allegedly throttled and smothered her, resulting in a broken thyroid cartilage. Her head was also smashed to the wall.

The body of the trainee doctor was found in a seminar hall within the medical college hospital campus on Friday morning.

She reportedly died between 3 and 5 am that day.

This brutal rape and murder of the trainee doctor has sparked off nationwide protests by medical fraternity across the country.
