Indian Man Jailed in Singapore For Biting Off Colleague’s Finger

A 40-year-old Indian national was sentenced to 10 months in prison on Friday in Singapore for biting off a portion of the index finger of a compatriot fellow worker in an inebriated state during a party brawl in April this year.

The convict Thangarasu Rengasamy, an excavator operator, had bitten Nagooran Balasubramanian’s left index finger, reported The Straits Times.

Rengasamy and Balasubramanian are Indian nationals. Nagooran is an electrical engineering technician. His finger was partially amputated by Rengaswamy’s drunken bite.
