Indian-Origin Man Shoots Brother Dead, Injures Mother, Then Takes Own Life in New York

Karamjit Multani, a 33-year-old Indian-origin man living in New York shot dead his younger brother Vipanpal Multani and injured his mother by shooting her in the stomach before ending his own life.

CBS News reported that the family was enjoying a pizza, when Karamjit entered Vipanpal’s room and shot him dead. He then fired at his mother. Then he aimed the gun at himself to commit suicide.

The father managed to escape and requested a neighbor to call the police.

The neighbour entered the house and found Vipanpal Multani shot and pleading for help.

Karamjit married with three young kids. His parents had no idea that he had a gun, reported CBS News.

“There weren’t big problems. Just small disagreements, nothing major,” the father said when asked if there were any issues between his sons.
