Mother of Sambalpuri Singer Ruksana Bano File FIR Accusing 5 Of Slow Poisoning Her

Bhawanipatna: Following the death of Sambalpuri singer and album actress Ruksana Bano at Bhubaneswar AIIMS on September 18, her mother has lodged an FIR at the Bhawanipatna Town police station in Kalahandi district accusing that her daughter died of slow poisoning.

In her police complaint, she has named five persons including singer Ruku Sana and two doctors.

Ruksana’s mother has alleged that the accused laced soft drink with some poison and made her drink it during the shooting for a music album in Balangir. Due to it, Ruksana fell ill and could not recover.

Ruksana fell ill while shooting for a music album in Balangir and she was admitted to a hospital on August 27. Later she was shifted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Balangir and from there to a private hospital in Bargarh. As her condition did not improve, she was admitted to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar in a critical condition and died during treatment on September 18.
