MTech Student from Haryana Stabbed to Death in Australia

A 22-year-old MTech student hailing from Haryana was allegedly stabbed to death in Australia during a violent clash between some Indian students. One more student was injured in the incident. The incident took place on May 4 at around 9 pm local time in Melbourne.

According to Yashvir, the victim’s uncle, the deceased Navjeet Sandhu faced the fatal attack when he tried to intervene in a dispute between some Indian students over some rent issue.

Yashvir said the family got the information about the incident early Sunday morning.

Yashvir’s family urged the Government of India to help to bring back his body to his home.
