Odia Worker Pushes Kerala TTE To Death From Train

Thrissur: A TTE died when a man from Odisha pushed him off a moving train in Kerala’s Thrissur on Tuesday evening.

Police arrested the accused, who was identified as Rajnikant, a migrant labourer from Odisha.

As per reports, following an altercation with the TTE K.Vinod, in a fit of anger, Rajnikant allegedly pushed him out of the moving train, causing his death. It is alleged that Rajnikant was in an inebriated state at that time and he was travelling ticketless.

The migrant labourer was arrested by police when the train reached Palakkad.

The deceased TTE Vinod, hailing from Kochi, was a diesel mechanic. Two years back, he had sought a transfer to become a TTE.
