Two Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in 2015 Murder Case in Ganjam Dist

Berhampur: Two persons were convicted by the Aska ADJ Court in Odisha’s Ganjam district in a murder case of 2015 and were sentenced to life imprisonment.

The convicts were identified as Panchanan Patra and Tuna alias Manoj Patra. They were involved in the murder of one Jaysen Pal of Mangalpur village under Aska police limits in Ganjam district on July 30, 2015.

Apart from the life imprisonment, the court also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 each on the convicts.

Three other persons named in the case were awarded a one-month jail term each by the court.
