UP Man Arrested for Hacking Wife to Death & Walking Around With Her Head

Lucknow: A man was arrested in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh for allegedly beheading his wife and walking around with her severed head.

The accused was identified as Anil Kanojia of Basara village in Fatehpur police station area of the Barabanki district. As per reports, he allegedly hacked his wife Vandana (28) to death with a cleaver on Friday morning and decapitated her.

He also picked up the severed head of his wife and started to walk towards the police station. A police team arrested him on his way. Initial police investigation hints that Kanojia suspected his wife of adultery. He killed his wife in a gruesome manner following a quarrel.
