Woman Ties Husband to Bed, Gives Him Electric Shocks for Taking Away Her Mobile Phone

Agra: A woman in Agra allegedly tied her husband to the bed and gave him electric shocks for taking away her phone. Their 14-year-old son was also beaten up by the woman when he tried to save his father.

The woman has absconded after the incident. The injured husband is undergoing treatment.

The victim, Pradeep Singh married Baby Yadav in 2007, reported the Times of India (TOI).

In his complaint, Pradeep claimed he had recently noticed his wife speaking with someone over the phone. His family members advised him to take away her phone. When Singh did that, Baby Yadav allegedly sedated him on May 18 night and tied him to the bed. She then beat him up ruthlessly with a cricket bat and also gave him electric shocks.

According to TOI, a case has been lodged against the absconding woman under IPC sections 307, 328 and 506.
