Drunk Govt School Teacher Chased Away by Students in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar

Raipur: Students of a primary school chased away a schoolteacher when he arrived in school in a drunken state in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district. The students also threw their shoes at the erring teacher when he escaped from the school premises.

A video clip of the happening is making rounds on social media. The authorities have launched a probe into the happening.

This video clip from Pallibhata village of Bastar district became viral on Tuesday. The local Block Education Officer (BEO) launched a probe into the incident. Bastar Collector Vijay Dayaram K told reporters that basing on the inquiry report further action will be taken in the matter.

In the video, the said teacher can be seen escaping from the school premises on his bike while children in school uniform hurl shoes and chappals at him. The man escaped from the spot in his motorbike even as students chased him.

According to the initial investigation, the video clip is of the government primary school in Pallibhata village of Bastar district. It is alleged that the teacher had the habit of coming to school in a drunken state, which irked the students.
