National Award-Winning Malayalam Cine-Actor Indrans to Appear Class X Exam

Thiruvananthapuram: Setting an example that age is no bar to restarting education, national award-winning Malayalam actor Indrans is preparing to appear for the Class X board examination in 2024.  The 67-year-old actor had to drop out of school in Class IV because of poverty. This veteran of over 400 movies is now attending classes

To sustain his family, Indrans started a tailoring shop and stitched costumes for production houses. In 1981, he got a chance to act in a movie and by 1994 became a popular actor in the Malayalam film industry.  He won a state and national film award.

Now he wants to eradicate the illiterate tag attached to his name. So, he decided to get back to his studies. He aims to clear the Class X board examination.
