World’s largest Museum to Come up In Delhi: PM Modi

New Delhi: The proposed Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum in New Delhi will be the largest museum in the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this during his address at the convention hall inauguration ceremony at Pragati Maidan on Wednesday.

The name of this museum means “everlasting India” and it will showcase the timeless essence of the nation’s heritage.

This museum will be established on an area of around 1.17 lakh square meters and it will have approximately 950 rooms spread across four floors including the basement. It will be located within the North and South Blocks flanking the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum will highlight India’s history of 5000 years, various epochs, vibrant cultures, fauna, flora, and exemplary contributions of Indian scholars, and the freedom struggle.
