College Student Ends Life After Losing Lakhs in Online Games in Balasore

Balasore: Uday Kumar Behera (19), a +3 second-year student from the Guda area under Soro police limits in Balasore district allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself after losing lakhs of rupees in online games.

His friends and family members allege because of his addiction to online games that he played throughout the day, he had lost

lost lakhs of rupees.

Uday was staying at a private hostel at Basudevpur. During his return to home a few days back he was found to be under severe mental strain. He was not speaking to anyone at home. On Wednesday, Uday’s mother found him hanging in his room. He was rushed to Soro Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
