Aamir Khan’s Son Junaid Khan to Play a Transwoman in “Strictly Unconventional”

Mumbai: Junaid Khan, the son of Bollywood star Aamir Khan will play the unique role of a transwoman in his upcoming theatre play, “Strictly Unconventional.”

“Strictly Unconventional” will make its debut at Mumbai’s Prithvi Theatre on November 15, 2023. In it Junaid Khan will be seen in a double role, and one of his characters is a transwoman.

In the role of transwoman, Junaid will be seen in traditional feminine attire along with a wig.

Junaid Khan’s journey in the world of theatre began in August 2017 with a stage adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s celebrated play, “Mother Courage and Her Children.”

While his theatre career is flourishing, Junaid Khan is gearing up for his silver screen debut in the movie “Maharaj,” a project backed by Yash Raj Films.

Junaid has already completed filming for his second movie, a love story with south star Sai Pallavi.
