After 25 Years Arshad Warsi, Maria Goretti Get Their Marriage Registered

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti, who have been married for 25 years, recently registered their marriage in court. Their marriage registration came ahead of the silver jubilee celebrations of their union on Valentine’s Day.

According to reports, Arshad and Maria registered their marriage in court on January 23.

They got married on February 14, 1999, through traditional rituals. On that day they were first married in a church ceremony, followed by a traditional nikah.

In a statement, Arshad said, he and Maria registered their marriage for legal reasons related to property matters and for the future.

They got their marriage registered under the Special Marriage Act. Their kids were not present during the marriage registration procedure as only witnesses were allowed.
