Special Gujarati Cuisine Awaits Indian Cricketers Ahead of 3rd England Test

Rajkot: India and England are gearing up for the crucial third Test in Rajkot, part of the ongoing five-match series, set to kick off on Thursday. With the series tied at 1-1, the match holds significant importance for Rohit Sharma’s team as they aim to maintain their winning momentum from the second Test.

Ahead of the match, special arrangements have been made to treat the cricketers to traditional Gujarati and Kathiyawadi cuisine on February 13, as reported by Aaj Tak. The menu boasts a variety of delicacies including Fafda-Jalebi, Khakhra, Gathiya, Thepla, and Khaman for breakfast, followed by dinner featuring Dahi Tikari, Vagherela Rotlo, and Khichdi Kadhi.

Additionally, skipper Rohit Sharma and wicket-keeper batter KL Rahul have been provided with a royal suite at the Sayaji Hotel in Rajkot, according to Urvesh Purohit, the hotel director.

Meanwhile, former Australian skipper Ian Chappell has voiced his opinion, foreseeing a tough competition from England under the leadership of Ben Stokes in the remainder of the series. However, he maintains his confidence in the Indian team’s ability to clinch the series victory.
