Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ Outpaces Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ in Advance Ticket Bookings

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film “Animal” has surpassed Vicky Kaushal’s “Sam Bahadur” in advance ticket sales. According to data from Sacnilk, a box office data collection platform, “Animal” has sold over 2 lakh tickets in the past 24 hours, while “Sam Bahadur” has garnered 18,000 tickets for its opening day on December 1.

Despite receiving an ‘A’ certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), “Animal” witnessed an exceptional response in advance bookings, with nearly 95,000 tickets sold for Day 1 on BookMyShow alone. The pre-sales momentum is particularly strong in states like Delhi, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, and West Bengal.

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, “Animal” boasts a star-studded cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. On the other hand, “Sam Bahadur,” directed by Meghna Gulzar, chronicles the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and his pivotal role in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war and the liberation of Bangladesh. The film has managed to secure 18,000 tickets for its opening day, with 7,500 tickets sold on BookMyShow.

The highly anticipated clash between these two films is set to unfold on December 1. While “Animal” has taken the lead in advance ticket sales, both movies feature an impressive ensemble cast. “Sam Bahadur” features Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Neeraj Kabi. Stay tuned for the box office showdown between these two cinematic offerings.
