Any Movie, Any Show at Rs 99 on Oct 13 to Mark National Cinema Day

Mumbai: For Movie buffs, October 13 will be a day to watch for. National Cinema Day is observed on October 13. To celebrate the day, the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) has decided to offer tickets at a flat Rs 99 at some of the leading cinema halls across the country.

But this offer will not be valid for IMAX, 4DX or recliner seats.

“National Cinema Day is back on October 13th. Join us at over 4000+ screens across India for an incredible cinematic experience, with movie tickets priced at just Rs. 99. It’s the perfect day to enjoy your favourite films with friends and family,” the MAI posted on X on Thursday.

“National Cinema Day this year will unfold across more than 4000 participating screens, including renowned cinemas like PVR INOX, CINEPOLIS, MIRAJ, CITYPRIDE, ASIAN, MUKTA AZ, MOVIE TIME, WAVE, M2K, DELITE, and many others,” the statement mentions.

National Cinema Day made headlines in 2022 when it achieved record-breaking success. The event saw an astonishing 6.5 million cine visitors, which was the highest-ever turnout for a single day in Indian cinema history.
