Caller Threatens To Blow Up Houses Of Big B, Dharmendra And Mukesh Ambani; Held

Mumbai: Mumbai police have arrested a man for allegedly making a fake call to blow up the houses of Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Mukesh Ambani.

According to reports by the HT, the accused wanted to check if the Mumbai police could reach him after the fake call.

For unversed, Police Control received an anonymous call from a person threatening to blow up the houses of Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra, the Mumbai police detained a man for making a fake call. The caller also claimed that there would be a blast in Mukesh Ambani’s Antilia, as well.

The incident was reported a few days after the  Nagpur control room received a hoax call from an unknown person. The person named Katke said that 25 persons with guns and weapons had been deployed outside Shivaji park at the residence of Dilip Joshi who starred in Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma (TMKOCH).

Later, the number was tracked and it belonged to a boy who works in a SIM card company in Delhi. The boy’s number was spoofed without his knowledge and the call was made using his number with the help of a special app.
