Delhi Police Awaits Post-Mortem Report Of Satish Kaushik As Probe Begins

New Delhi: The Delhi police are awaiting the post-mortem report on actor-director Satish Kaushik’s death to confirm the cause of death.

As per reports, his postmortem will be conducted at the hospital on Thursday, following which his body will be brought to Mumbai for his last rites. No details on that have been shared as of now.

Kaushik’s funeral procession will take place at 5 pm at his Mumbai residence today, according to a note shared by the actor’s family. The actor’s body is expected to arrive in Mumbai by 3 pm.

Delhi Police has started an investigation into the actor’s death and is awaiting the postmortem report. As per the initial findings, nothing suspicious has been found.

For unversed, actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away following a heart attack in Delhi in the early hours of Thursday morning, at the age of 66. His sudden demise sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry.

Known for his comic timing, Kaushik was also a director. His most popular films as a filmmaker are Salman Khan-starrer Tere Naam and Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tusshar Kapoor.
